The bigger picture
Film premiers in London's famous West End may be a big draw for tourists and star struck locals alike, but they don't offer much value for money. London is the world's priciest location to go to the cinema. Film buffs would be better off going straight to the source, with Los Angeles prices at just over half the levels of London. The real bargain, however, lies in Bollywood. Mumbai is among the cheapest of all locations to go and see a film. Rates for cities subscribed to can be viewed by clicking on the "Indices" button and scrolling down the price list.
